Look. You know your character is a nerd about something. There's a hill they want to die on, there's a topic they want to argue about. Here's their opportunity to make their case. This isn't a strict meme. Your character's powerpoint presentation can be an actual powerpoint, a bulletpoint list, images made in paint, description of a video they filmed... however they would like to make their presentation.

some things that they can be making presentations about: ranking various items/people/concepts, why _ is better than _, the ocean is/isn't soup, what constitutes a sandwich, etc.

Attract some opposites, if you must

MOST ATTRACTIVE FEATURE

✱ Comment with your character. Feel free to include a link to a picture of them at their best/most flattering/cutest/beautiful/handsome/most appealing/etc.
✱ Other characters are ~~forced to~~ ~~gently compelled~~ to admit the one part of yours they find the most attractive. Hair? Eyes? Muscles? That height? That mole? That ass...umption that they're a great person?
✱ Your character now has to flip all the scripts and fess up to others.
✱ Rinse. Repeat. Regret.
✱ Of course, if they're boring, some people might be drawn to a personality trait over a physical one.
✱ But that cute smile, tho. Lemme swoon.

The gist is this: characters get a chance to share memories with another one. It can be voluntary or involuntary on either or both persons' parts; mind melds, soulmate connections, jamjar situations that are forcing it on everyone, whatever. Whether it's through your eyes or like you're watching a movie, crystal clear or smudged like grease on a lens, your choice or picked for you, those memories belong to both of you now, and you know something about each other you probably won't ever forget.

• Toplevel your character. Include any details you might think are relevant, like what memory they would be sharing and who you're open to them sharing it with.
• Reply to other people's toplevels!
• Have fun!

NOT just A ROBOT

There's always a right tool for the job, be it as simple as a hammer for a nail or on up to the much, much more complex. In this, the near future, the new tool for the abstract, post-modern job is no longer from the humble tool box - it's robots. Robots have taken over most sectors, such as assembly, law enforcement, and even health care. Things run so much smoother when they're automated. Yet the most impressive factor is that robots have just recently begun to enter a sector previously believed to require human touch: the personal sector. From personal assistants to robo bodyguards to pleasurebots, most anyone who's anyone has a personal robot these days. Of course, humanity being the narcissistic charmers we are, all "companion" sector robots are made in our own beautiful image, or close to it.

But you know this. You have a personal robot, after all...or you are one.

Whether owner or robot, it's important to remember one key rule: robots, no matter how human they appear, cannot feel emotions. Any appearances thereof are programming in the AI.

Robots certainly, absolutely, cannot fall in love. Again, any appearances thereof are programming in the AI. If that's not the case, and "love" still seems present...

...well, a toll that no longer functions correctly may not be right for the job.
